Vehicle Conversions and Installed Equipment
Custom Vehicle Conversions
At Lex System, every vehicle conversion is designed and built specifically to suit the customer’s vehicle, requirements, and intended use. Because of this bespoke approach, our returns policy reflects the custom nature of the work while ensuring clarity and fairness for both parties.
Once installation work has been completed, vehicle conversions are non-returnable and non-refundable, due to the permanent and tailored nature of the build.
Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered, manufactured, or allocated to the project.
If a customer chooses not to proceed after fabrication or installation has begun, the customer may be responsible for costs incurred up to that point. This may include materials, labour, and allocated build time.
We always aim to communicate clearly throughout the process to ensure everything is aligned before work progresses.
Installed Equipment and Components
Where equipment or components are supplied and installed as part of a conversion, any applicable manufacturer warranties will apply.
If standalone equipment is supplied without installation by Lex System, returns may be accepted provided that:

The item is in its original packaging

The return is requested within 14 days of delivery
In these cases, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Custom fabricated parts and made-to-order components are non-returnable, as they are produced specifically for each build.
Order Cancellations
If an order is cancelled before materials are ordered, deposits will be refunded minus any design or administrative costs already incurred.
If an order is cancelled after materials have been ordered, deposits are non-refundable.
If an order is cancelled after fabrication or installation work has begun, the customer may be responsible for the full project cost, reflecting materials, labour, and allocated build time.
Vehicle Collection After Completion
Once a customer has been notified that work is complete, we ask that the vehicle is collected within 7 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This allows flexibility for customer scheduling while ensuring we can continue to manage workshop space and ongoing projects efficiently.
If you anticipate any delays, please let us know — we’re always happy to work around reasonable circumstances where possible.
After this period, vehicles remain on site at the owner’s risk. Lex System cannot accept responsibility for battery discharge, environmental factors, theft, or third-party damage beyond the agreed collection window.
Refund Processing
Where refunds are agreed, they will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise arranged.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law where applicable.
Policy Acceptance
By placing an order, paying a deposit, or delivering a vehicle for work, you confirm acceptance of this returns policy.
