SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

Service Type

Lex System primarily provides vehicle conversion and installation services completed at our premises.

Where applicable, we may also ship standalone equipment, components or palletised systems.

Vehicle Drop Off

Customers are responsible for delivering vehicles to the agreed Lex System premises at the agreed booking date and time.

Vehicles must arrive:

  • Empty of tools, stock and personal items

  • Clean and safe to work on

  • Roadworthy and safe to operate

Failure to meet these requirements may delay work and may incur additional charges.

Vehicle Collection

Once work is complete and the customer has been notified:

  • Vehicles must be collected within 24 hours unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Full payment must be received and cleared before the vehicle is released

Vehicles left beyond the agreed collection window:

  • Remain on site at the owner’s risk

  • May incur storage charges

Vehicle Delivery (If Arranged)

Where vehicle delivery is arranged by Lex System or a third party transport provider:

  • Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed

  • The customer must ensure someone is available to receive the vehicle

  • Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery

Equipment Shipping

Where standalone equipment or systems are shipped:

  • Shipping costs will be confirmed on quotation or invoice

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on carrier and location

  • Customers must inspect goods on arrival

Delivery Damage

If goods arrive damaged:

  • Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • Photographic evidence may be required

  • Packaging should be retained where possible

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect claims.

Missed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to customer availability or access issues:

  • Additional delivery charges may apply

  • Storage charges may apply

International Shipping (If Applicable)

International deliveries may be subject to:

  • Import duties

  • Taxes

  • Customs clearance fees

These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Force Majeure

Lex System is not responsible for delivery delays caused by events outside reasonable control including:

  • Carrier delays

  • Supplier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Transport disruption

Policy Acceptance

By placing an order, arranging delivery or booking a vehicle conversion, the customer agrees to this shipping and delivery policy.
